Abstract

Political polarization has become a prominent feature of contemporary society,

exacerbated by the proliferation of digital technologies and online platforms. This article

examines the phenomenon of political polarization through a social science lens,

exploring its causes, manifestations, and implications in the digital age. Drawing on

interdisciplinary perspectives, the study investigates the role of digital media in shaping

attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors related to political ideology. Through a comprehensive

analysis of existing literature and empirical research, this article aims to provide insights

into the complex dynamics of political polarization in the digital era and suggests

avenues for future inquiry and intervention.
